Listening to World Inferno/Friendship Society, and I've come to the conclusion (after a bottle of wine, of course) that more than anything, I'd like a girl to waltz with. sigh.

Also, I bought Little Nemo 1905-1915 today, AMAZING! I wish I could live in slumberland.

Yeah Perdido Street Station was the first book I read, on a whim, and I ended up writing a paper on it

King Rat is definitely my all time favorite, there's definitely a familiarity and love that went into that book that isn't present with the New Crobuzon books. Like, the love is there, but there's a certain amount of "benevolent creator" distance as well.

He has a new book coming out? Oh shit! I didn't know that!!!

I'm trying to feel better soon. I'm on some good (if annoying) antibiotics, andI'm trying to take it easy, so we'll see if it works.
