So I went to a gallery opening last night. It was amazing. There was a collection of 15 Chicano artists. Several of them blew me away.
The gallery is owned by my friends father, and he was so not ready for the guests when I got there. I ended up working for the first half of the night. I made 5 gallons of lemonade, 5 gallons of punch, and 20 gallons of Sangria.
I don't drink, and i was making the Sangria?? Hell Yes. I make shit happen.
Turned out the Sangrai was like the best anyone hade ever had. There was a line for the shit.
So all in all fun night. Even if I had to cut assloads of limes, oranges, and lemons for the booze mix.
Oh yeah and Patrick Muther F'in' Swayze was in the house. I kept saying "Left Boot" all night.
