... yesterday I received a package in the mail. I was already going to be late for class so I took the package with me and opened it in my car. I figured it was an ebay package since I had bought a Transformers DVD boxset not too long ago off it.
So I opened it. Inside was a plushy octupus, a plastic severed finger, a survival knife, a pack of chocalote cigarettes, and a lot of stencil sparkly shit. I was thoroughly confused. Had I been had? Had the ebay auctioneer took my money and sent me a bunch of crap as a joke? It didn't make sense.
I checked to see if the package was really addressed to me. And then out of the corner of my eye who it as from caught my eye. Chuck Palahniuk. I had sent him fan mail back in October. He sent my all this stuff plus two CDs of all the stories he had read in his book tours and a response letter. That made my day.

Let's plan something musical for next year's Lion's Valentine's special and make it a tradition. Each year we will add more and more to it and make it bigger and badder as we go. You know, really think outside of the box. You can be that cool Lion-friend John that we see once a year at the Valentine's thing. It is fun being a friend of the club, they are really good to community friends that aren't members for some reason. They give 'em awards and gifts at Christmas and shit.
Trish is really cool, and nice! I wanna go see Rook sometime soon.
