Time for another lonely saturday night. Its more emphasized when no one else is home. The last couple people I dated I really wasn't interested in. I just did it because I was tired of being single. I meet so few women that capture my interest. I feel like I'm not looking for too much. Someone who likes to read and has hobbies with goals. Someone who takes care of themselves physically. Someone who inspires me and I can go to sleep next to thinking about how wonderful they truly are.
Anyway enough of that.
So what have I been up to lately? A lot actually. Lots of tests. I made an A on my Physics 2 test earlier this week. I'm pretty sure I got an A on my computer programming test too.
I found out my sister is moving to Dallas in January. Sucks. I'll miss them. Especially the kids. Man I love those kids. Makes me want to have kids. Not like that's going to happen any year soon.
I've also been sent through a lot of really annoying scenarios with my band. Pretty much the Attrition event has me worried. Originally, it was just supposed to be Axis, Attrtion, and the band touring with Attrition. Then the promoter added 2 more local bands to it. The show is supposed to start at 8. This means we all get 30 minute sets. My band, Axis, needs 30 minutes to setup. No way around that. The two openers get 15 minutes. So if the openers run over we're the ones that get fucked. On top of that they booked another band. Some band called Psyclon or something like that. I've never heard of them. So now we have 6 bands all playing in one night. We're fucked. The promoter, our friend, has fucked us. And then he got pissed off and drunk the other night and told us we sounded like a "garage band". Fucker. So he's going to come to practice tomorrow and we'll see if he still thinks we sound like a garage band. The dude has seriously pissed me off at this point. I would really like to meet just one promoter that I like. Seriously.
Either way, we have some really sharp looking press kits now. I'll probably post them at some point but I really don't feel like it now. We've also contacted a couple local bands in hopes of setting up some shows.
Let's see, what else? A lot of things have been going wrong lately it seems like. But a lot of things have been going right too. I'm down to two guitar students. Fucking blows.
I've been addicted to Final Fantasy 12. The gameplay is an absolute blast.
I watched the Omen 1-3 for the first time the other day. The first one was great! The others were okay. The third one was really only okay because, of Sam Neil.
Some days I really feel like I'm shitty at everything I do and am a complete asshole. Today is not one of those days but I've been having them more frequently lately. I'm just ready for school to be out. I'm ready to find someone interesting to date. I'm just ready for something to happen. I also miss my friends. Hanging out with my band is stressful. I guess we do have game day tomorrow. Oh well. Onto the night.
