So the other night we broke into our old club. Its this big warehouse downtown. I have a lot of good memories there. A few of my friends rented the building and a few of us (myself included) DJed there. We had people from all walks. Goths, ravers, metalheads, punks, swingers. It was awesome! Two floor warehouse. Multi-dj setups. BYOB. We pretty much went until everyone passed out which was usually around 7 to 8 AM. We all new it was only a matter of time before we got shut down.

Being back in that big building was so weird. It was so empty. All the posters and things were gone. I didn't expect all that stuff to be gone. I knew some of it would but not all of it. I hear they're going to bulldoze the building now. That's sad. And that may be the best Tulsa ever gets.

The worst part is the other club owners in Tulsa are the ones who took action to shut it down. We were hurting they're business to the point that they pointed the fire department to us. Keep in mind, this was an underground club. There was no line in the parking lot or some big glittery sign out front. This was a place you'd have to know was there to find it. And now its gone.

Man I have good memories from then. The band I'm in Axis played there a lot. We practiced there too. Before we played a fetish ball in Houston and Kansas City we put on one of our best shows there. All our friends were into it. God it feels good to have your friends into your own music. It was so much fun.

And now its gone. And Tulsa is back to nothing. Sure we have the rock venues and the supposed "hardcore" (that's a laugh) scene but I don't give a shit about those pricks. They had us shut the fuck down. These music clicks. These party houses. They eat themselves.
