I got ahold of Michelle from Marketing today pertaining to the History Channel documentary they're filming at Barona. She explained the legalities of it, and said that I essentially can pick any role I want in it, save for maybe a dealer since I have no dealing skills. She doesn't know much about how it's going to play out, but she thinks it's going to be an all silent performance with just voiceover from the people who actually took part in the events where the MIT students won the millions. Or maybe somebody famous will do a narration. I have an audition set up. That sounds so weird, because I'm the last person who should be doing any type of "acting".

A couple days ago, I went out and did laundry. This was the first time that I had to actually use two dryers in order to cut my drying time down to under an hour. Typically, I can do one load in a double-load washer, and then I cram it all into one dryer for 56 minutes. No such luck this time. I know I'm bound to eventually break the dryers at the laundrymat.

While waiting for my clothes to dry, I stopped off at a nearby bookstore to see what was out. I got Poker Nation, a Counting Crows CD, and I decided to go ahead and buy Diary by Chuck Palahniuk. A friend of mine and a former coworker from Borders, Daniel Touchet, is in the book.. he actually has a role as a doctor in there. Dr Touchet. A small role from what I understand, but it specifically was named after him.. with documentation from Chuck to back it up. Chuck. What an awesome guy. I highly recommend you people check out his website, and look into his forums and writers workshops. I'm a part of that stuff, and it's quality good times.
