Today is a random blog entry... i feel like i must share this...

today i got a message back from an sg user... after reading her blog saying she lived in chicago and all that jazz... i decided to message her.... said that we should hang sometime might be fun... this is a perfectly legit thing to ask when trying to meet new people... especially when ive already met some awesome peeps through this site.. so i told her my name and where i was from.. ya know small talk... and this is the message i receive back .....

"get together. Oh yes hun, please lets just meet somewhere, and we'll talk some, then go back to your place so you can fuck my brains out right? Fuck off, matt."

not very friendly if you ask me... but at least she got my name right..
now im kinda shy, even when it comes to just meeting people, and yes being on the internet makes it a bit easier to talk without the weird awkwardness of meeting someone new.... but i was like ouch did she even have to send that back to me... was that really necessary...

i guess i cant blame her since she has no clue who i am and such... im just glad that some of you have had the guts to talk to me and in some cases actually hangout.. and like i said ive met some super cool people...

what can i say i like meeting new people... and im in a place in my life where i need to meet new people...



in other new... i think i may have found myself a job... and a legit one at that... at a sound and audio place... hope it works out.... but who knows...

so whats new with all you.. something exciting i hope.... i dont have much going on.... im boring yes im aware

It's always a bummer when people project their experiences onto you. We seem to live in a climate of distrust, especially if there's been a bunch of hurt in our pasts (of course I'm not speaking from experience. hah.). Still, it's unfair, and no one should be treated like they're an asshole just for being friendly and wanting to expand their social circle (once you're out of school or not working in a job populated by solely peers, your chances to meet new people greatly diminishes so the internet is really one of the only avenues).

For the record, if I were in IL, I would hang out with you :-P

ha! that's pretty funny. don't take it personally, you are fighting against the tide of reeelly creepy guys that haunt the interwebs. it's not you, but sounds like she's maybe over sensitive. case in point - guy on here messaged me he can't wait to see my asshole. apropos of nothing. i'm using that as a conversation starter from now on.
