My friend Tracey (best friend who I am so often speaking about) is very sick right now and passed out on my couch. All I can do for her is rub her back when she throws up. Apparently, she did not realize what would happen if you mix pizza, alcohol and pain killers ( for the root canal) together.
I feel kind of helpless.... This girl, even though she's younger than me by 5 years, has been there for me through EVERYTHING........ drinking too much, suicidal thoughts and actions and everything else I can not put into words.
So, I sit, wait and make sure she stays on her back. If I had known she had taken a pill, I would not have let her drink.
We are so opposite... I have to check on her & make sure she's okay. She's such a good kid...

I know she'll be okay but still, it's the mom in me coming out. In case I didn't mention before, I have a 9 year old son I do not live with because.... well, I'll get to that if any one of my FRIENDS ever tag me. His smile is smomething I can not live without. Messy red hair and green eyes.... freckles and all.
Just one of those things you worry about when one of the few people you actually love is down.
