in other news, I am stripping my own roof. Its three layers of HELL and rotted and broken pine underneigh that is spaced an inch to an inch in a half apart...making it a bitch to rip. I almost fell through my garage.....my house was built in 1900.

it figures that the toughest roof would be my own.

So here I sit waiting for my gorgeous supplies to arrive. What kind of roof does a roofer put on their own house.....

Owen corning oarkridge pro series 50 year shingles in Brownwood and ice and water up the entire house.

(the roof I REALLY wanted was 160 dollars a square.... eek!!!!.....damn. so I settled for the 75 dollar a sq.)

I wonder is anyone would notice if I hired another roofing company to strip my house....(looks around suspiciously)

no. I would never live that down.
