is it standard practice for pin up artists to flat out trace everything from a photo? ...........down to the shadows and the highlights?
i mean, am i going out on a limb by saying that tracing doesn't require any talent? what's wrong with just using the photo as a source rather than a template for your drawing? Doesn't leave very much room for creativity I'm afraid i have absolutely no respect for people who do that.
i'd post my recent exact trace finding here but i don't want to end up pissing too many poeple off just because i take my art seriously.....and expect others to as well.....to some its really petty but i kind of take it personally when most artists have to actually work to aquire skill, but then some people come along and get ahead only by tracing photos......that they didn't even take
i mean this was an EXACT matchup between an SG's photo and the said "artwork"
oh well
