What if I sold everything?
Well, more precisely everything in my storage unit.
I moved back in with my parents about a year ago when my brother moved out of his room and I left my husband at about the same time. Things really aren't bad living with the parents again because I have enough space to not feel an immediate need to get a place of my own....not to mention I wouldn't be able to afford one.
The biggest thing that has been stopping me from getting rid of my furniture is the possibility that I'll move out and need couches and coffee tables and stools and everything else, but after a year sitting in storage, I'm pretty sure I've already paid for all of it all over again.
I think it would be nice to get rid of all that stuff because I don't own it, it owns me. I plan to get rid of everything in my room that I don't need as well. Yep. I'm going to do it. I'll not longer keep things for sentimental value
...well maybe I'll leave a box of small stuff and old sketchbooks, but nothing more!

I think that's an excellent idea. I do it all of the time. I just like to reinvent a space, but i'll keep something if I feel there's something special about it, like this vintage couch i had that could seat 8 people comfortably next to each other. I had that for a bit, but moving was sometimes a pain.

Clear the old stuff, it'll be a nice little saving nest for when you do decide to move out and buy brand new things thats YOURS. Plus youll save loads not having it all in storage
