First off, I want to thank Gonzoe, Tangus, and Rebel_Rebel for coming way over to my place last night just to hang out and watch movies. It was a lot of fun.

The original reason for the gathering was based around Cartoon Network's claim that they would have a special airing of the ATHF movie at 10pm last night - before its theatrical release. We were all pretty skeptical but we decided to watch and see.

Now, I don't know how many of you saw what CN did, but I thought it was pretty clever. At first it looked like they were really going to show the movie in its full glory, but maybe 5 minutes or less into it the movie was scaled down to a microscopic block in the corner of the screen while the normally scheduled shows continued playing.

Cute.

Nevertheless good times were had. And best of all, I had two personal chefs in my kitchen to cook dinner for all of us.

Observe the absurdity:

other than that, I bought my first serger today plus a helluva lot of material. I haven't touched it yet, but hopefully I'll be sporting some new custom threads soon.

just one more completely random thought:

Am I the only one who wishes that Ministry would have continued more on this route?

and even if the music doesn't quite appeal to the masses, you have to admit that the look here really worked for Al Jorgensen.

....or then again, maybe it's just me

Heard (read) about Benni on a Lithium Picnic post on LiveJournal.
Don't know what the story is yet, though.
But her last post is starting to fill up with many RIP posts. This morning when I posted, it was only two pages, now it's on it's way to being seven, if it hasn't already gotten there.
I wonder what SG will do to honor her.

Man, Id never thought that of Al Jourgensen. The Nu Wave kid! Jesus. Jesus later built his hotrod, if we were to believe him :-)
