I just bought $100 worth of stuff on Amazon and a pair of 8" heels on some other site for $60.....and all I was going to buy was ONE book that wasn't in the local stores that I HAD to have. Geez, I'm a horrible impulse shopper. But I'm getting some pretty schweet stuff!

Yesterday was my first night on my new job. The place I'm working has such a cool atmosphere and I love everyone there. And while I still have a lot to get used to, I feel like this could be the best place to work for.....ever! I just hope that I can pull in enough money from tips because it is such a small restaurant.
I'm only working three days this week, so I'll be taking full advantage with plenty of going out to my favorite bar without a bedtime to consider. Plus I'll have enough time to get some creative projects underway.
Another thing that I'm pretty excited about is that this weekend I'm going to buy a serger. Hancock Fabrics is going to have one on sale for really nice price. I feel like I can get really serious about my sewing once I have one. It pretty much is only the crappy stitching of my current machine that is stopping me right now.
Oh. One more thing. I've found an interesting cat to collaborate with on a project or two....found him in L.A. (I'm now in love with that city, btw). He can write, and I can draw.....so it kind of works. I'm actually pretty excited about it. I'm ready to get serious and create something worth creating, and I think he's just the person to motivate me.
