So what's new, what's new?

I went to a great show at the House of Blues on monday. She Wants Revenge was playing and they kicked bootay!!!

I love the house of blues sooo much. Everything about the place just rocks. The sound, the cozyness and the fact that there isn't a bad seat in the house makes it the best venue in town.

At first I felt so out of my element with all the emo kids populating the place, but in between bands I made buddies with a couple of girls and a guy who looked just like someone I know online....I would have told him so but that would have just been creepy and weird. The girls were really cute and fun, though. One of them was from up north where she said everything is very "scene" i.e. emo. But down here in Florida there's an interesting mixture of the goth/industrial types and the indie kids.....It's always neat to hear about the area from another viewpoint.

SO we were right up front and center and boy oh boy it was a really awesome show.....the singer was so stoic yet very intense and when he jumped down from the stage (right in front of me, btw) he seemed like he was in his own world.....he just has this very cool quality about him. And what I love most was that they didn't do that encore bullshit......they actually played all that they were going to play all at once.......imagine that!

so I've kinda been raving about the show ever since....I'd happily see them again
