Took my little brother (the older little one, er the 21 y/o), to see Alkaline Trio last night for his birthday. We had a good time. Shows at Water Street are usually good. Last night was ok... The opening band whoever they were I totally wasn't feeling, and Mike Park made me laugh, and Trio didn't play a very long set. I so could have done without all the kiddies... Yey for all ages shows! 
Really, if they weren't RUDE little FUCKS, it would have been ok for them to be there... but for the most part the kids WERE rude little fucks! 
The best part about the show was seeing friends I haven't seen in years! And the fact that I thought for sure I'd run into an EX who is Trio obsessed... and I didn't! 
I got my friend to put me up on this ledge thinger so I could see and sit at the same time. (Awesome, considering I couldn't stand for very long due to my back!) I was even able to get a few pictures of the guys for my brother from where I was sitting! He should have some copies for me today since he's Eckert's photo Lab guy... So I'll try and add them later tonight. 
Spotted the lovely Miss Monica Suicide... But didn't say hi or anything... I didn't want to be "that girl," maybe I'll introduce myself if I see her out after I go pink. 
I had a very interesting convo with My best friends new man about future things Eeeeeeeeeeeep! Very EXCITING! So all in all good times, except the part where I ate something that made me sick!

I locked my brother's keys in his car today.
