Ok, I'm feeling a bit rushed... I'm moving out of the country... that's right. More on that later as well as some much neglected commenting on my part, but for now there is simply too much for me to do!

I am moving to Calgary with the boy
(the far away one
).
His brother lives there and I am going to be the nanny for his nephew.
I am so excited!
As for my brother... on my birthday he went out to visit my mother and then the two of them decided he wasn't going to come back!
Since the fabulous state of New York has such wicked smart laws I would have been responsible for him up until the court date of her fighting me to get custody back. Which would mean if he didn't go to school in that time I could go to jail for 'endangering the welfare of a child'! All this was because he didn't want to go to school anymore. I had him set up in a program for kids with disability... it enabled him to get his GED 2 years before the 'no child left behind act' would allow. All he had to do was go to school the whole month of February (the shortest month of the year) and he could have taken the GED in March and then be done. He chose not to go at all anymore. The kicker is that since I have just signed him over (no sense in fighting to keep a kid who won't even help himself) my mother has signed paperwork for him to drop out all together (which the district I live in would never allow). I was just too worn out by him and things were getting pretty ugly.
He was getting more and more violent towards me and kicking the cats to the point of injuring 2 of the 3.
Anyways thats that.
Now back to all the stuff I have to do!

Thank you for the birthday wishes, but I am so sorry to hear about your bro. But it sounds like you've got good things ahead . . .
