so i have a crush on this customer. she comes in every few days to buy wine and cheese and other little things, and she is often in my line. she is totally not my type, except her lips remind me of katharine's. i didn't realize i had a crush on her until i had a creepy dream about her. in it, she was a sexy vampire. hopefully, one day, our cashier/customer relationship will progress to the point where i can tell her that.

she always buys the same wine, a bonny doon vineyard chiraz. i am only just learning about the world of wines, and since it was her favorite, what better thing to bring up next time i see her? i tried it, and it is pretty heady stuff. tonight i watched around constantly to see if she was in the store, head whipping around constantly, like a member of jesus christ the kidnapped. am i a creep, or what?

katharine is leaving for new hampshire next sunday for two whole weeks, including christmas and new years eve. i can't see my family, because i am new at work and i am getting the holiday shaft. alone for the holidays? bah humbug.
