as of tomorrow, the council will have hopefully removed my Wasps Nest thats living above my bedroom window. this will please me greatly, although there is something totally satisfying in bashing a wasp to bit with an Argos catalogue when the fucker gets in through the window!

so, i just got back from a fab, drunken, and very brief trip to Sheffield to see "The Member Formally known As LadyInsane"...

had a fantastic time, and even though it seemed a long way to go for an evenings drinking, it was awesome to get to see my best bud Lisa (who I haven't seen since the holiday) and behave badly as we always do.

so this weekend:

- had a fantastic mexican meal, complete with some bloody strong margeritas

- got totally plastered at the mother of all punk rock pubs. honestly, this place put the ship to shame. it was as though the DJ had specifically turned up cos me and lisa were there and read our minds. so we got The Misfits, The Dropkicks, The Souls, Social D, Pennywise and DK played at ear-splitting volume all night.
much shouting along ensued!

- woke up at 4am with cramp in my leg, and spent 10 minutes dry-heaving over Lisas bog. damn Jager...

- woke up again at 10.30 with NO HANGOVER????

- took the girls amazing greyhounds for a walk, and sat in a park in the sun

- went back to the punk rock pub for sunday afternoon beers, ready for my trip home!

and now i'm back in Sarf Laaandon, sitting in my sweaty flat, killing wasps...
