i wanted to give you more photos, but i'm so broken and hungover i can't get myself to actually do anything constructive...
so heres one...
me and the crew with Kevin Seconds!
last week, the legendary Kevin Seconds (from the band Seven Seconds) came and played an acoustic show at the Fighting Cocks. it wasn't very packed, was very low key, but was an awesome night. having a hardcore legend playing in the backroom of the local punk rock pub was amazing. and there were singalongs...
and now, a big list of stuff:
- went and saw Alkaline Trio @ KOKO with Jackie - one of the best times i've seen them, and was ace to hang out with my partner-in-crime again
- saw Gaslight Anthem @ ULU, who were fucking AWESOME
- did a pub crawl around Borough and London Bridge. I have some great photos on my phone, that i haven't bothered to upload yet. saw one of the locations from "Lock, Stock..."
- did the Monopoly pub crawl with SGUK. my first meet for a very very long time. was hard work, and sloped off early!
- had the first songwriting session for my new band, which is looking promising. rehearsals start next week, we are gonna be ROCKIN!
- done lots of bowling. really getting into it now, and we're going regularly. gonna get my own ball when i start hitting at least a 120 (i'm nowhere near at the moment, but 121 has been my highest score so far)
- had the week off work and went to my parents in Chichester. where i spent the entire 4 days playing Zelda on my dads Nintendo DS.
- booked a trip to Liverpool!
- booked up my next tattoo! now i start the left leg, YAY!
- still seeing the girl i met a few weeks ago. taking things slowly. shes great, but i'm still not really "feeling the thing" at the moment. i'm hoping i will soon, as i don't really wanna lead her on...but at the same time don't really wanna give up so soon. argh, dilemma...
- would be a lot easier if the hot girl at work (emma) wasn't there - oh yeah, before you ask me to ask her out, shes ENGAGED! hehehe....
