so its time to update this shit again i think.... 
whats been going on in the land of Munch? well, i had a 5 day hangover after Amsterdam, and i'm getting the impression i'm still kinda recovering from that! what a trip - was sooo worth all the puking afterwards!
things have been kinda bonkers since:
- we played a gig in Stockwell last thursday that was great. we were very shambolic, but as a three peice apparently we're now looking a lot more comfortable and have far more confidence onstage now. we just need to get the playing back on track again...oops!
- saw The Mingers last two southern gigs, which were totally crackers affairs. ended up crowdsurfing (grow up munch!), and saw one of the best bands i've seen this year GLASS AND ASHES. phenomenal stuff!
As for The Mingers - they are the best bunch of people. I'll totally miss this band big time.
- saw The Computers and The Loved Ones last night at Barfly...another cracker of a gig!
- was a total grown up and got NEW CARPETS and had THE FLAT DECORATED!!!!! i must admit, i hated the idea of this, but i must say, i actually got quite excited about new carpet.
so next time any of you are over - its shoes off, and DON'T FUCKING SPILL YER DRINKS!
One other thing thats happened too is that i came off my happy tablets sometime last week. I must say i think i've come to the realisation that i've never actually felt happier and calmer (well, as much as hyperactive me can be calm), for YEARS. it took me a while to realise i had a problem - coming back from SF and wanting to sell my flat and disappear made me realise that - but i've come to the conclusion that i probably hadn't been properly right head-wise for over a year, maybe more.
I feel like my old self again - a person that hadn't existed in my head for quite a while to be honest.
and as much as i still get stressed and wound up (like i've ALWAYS been), its kinda fun having those feelings again, like a normal person.
the only thing is my sex drive has come back with a total vengeance. I kinda liked not having one while i was on the tablets. Anyone got a spare cute single female friend lying around they'd like to pass onto me?
