SCREECHING WEASEL - "EVERY NIGHT"
one of my fave bands, one of my fave screeching weasel songs, and lyrically, kinda where i am right now.
spent all day at work today reading the massive Wikipedia entry on them. Which has made me go back and re-read a lot of thier lyrics. i knew Ben Weasel was a clever cynical bastard - i didn't realise that some of those silly songs he wrote were actually as deep and intelligent - and as relevant - as they were.
in other news, i had a good weekend. saw Jackie on Friday and Doplex on Saturday, and had a good random time both nights...albeit spoiled by hellish train travel on friday, and broken/blocked toilets in the ship on saturday.
