Isn't it amazing the amount of crap you can collect over the years?
So today i spent most of the day emptying my desk at work and packing up my stuff, ready for me and my little box of belongings to start work at our other office on Monday morning.
Unfortunately i didn't get out of having to move offices. luckily i am still doing the same job. its gonna be awkward, but the travelling backwards and forwards between offices is gonna give me a shitload of expenses, which should more than cover my petrol - so i'm likely to be making on the deal (at least 60 a month i reckon). we shall see anyway.
i would say i'm not particularly excited about moving. but theres not much i can do about it. even my Big Manager thinks the whole re-organisation is ridiculous. but whatever. its happening, and i'm kinda sad to be going elsewhere.
anyway, in case anyone was interested...

this week, i had a bit of a musical nostalgia trip and bought this:

its a collection of their singles and b-sides - and even though at the time i wasn't the biggest Primitives fan (they were unbelievably shite live), i had all their singles, and i loved their recorded output. I was much more into Darling Buds, Jesus And Mary Chain, Voice Of the Beehive and Transvision Vamp at the time, seeing as they could actually play live and weren't as boring to watch.
so i saw this and on checking the track listing remembered how much i loved those old b-sides. so i got it. and amazingly enough, i still stands up as great indie girly pop stuff - perhaps even more so than some of the bands i preferred at the time.
who'd have thunk it?
