i recieved this card in the post today from a friend of mine. not cos its christmas or anything...just cos...
to anyone that knows me pretty well - kinda says it all really, dunnit?
i finally recieved a late birthday PICTURE drawn by the lovely ex-stupid Elodie (ex SG member Hologramme to the uninitiated):
how awesome is that, huh?
The Grit show was amazing on Thursday. Me and Jackie danced like idiots and shouted "CUNT!" a lot.
What a fucking band though. You see someone as ace as this - a band that rock like bastards, that put everything into a show, that are thoroughly entertaining, AND engage the audience, AND make you feel part of AN EVENT (even though they're third on the bill at a half empty Underworld) - thats some pretty special shit they got going on.
it makes me angry having caught loads of "hyped to fuck" support bands over the last year, ones that the kids love and rave about, yet they have NO FUCKING IDEA!
heres to The Grit. they got signed and got a new album out next year - i hope good things happen for them, cos they deserve it.
