ok, so i think a few people may have taken my last emo entry a tad too literally. i thought i explained myself ok, but maybe i didn't. for the record though - i'm not going anywhere. not yet anyway. i was just being honest saying i'd been thinking about it. no biggie.
funny how the "emo entries" get more comments, innit?
ok, lets move on...
so, like a bolt out of the blue, yesterday i got a well timed txt from LittleBleeder at 7am saying she was back from NY and did i wanna go out for a beer in the evening. of course the answer was a resounding YES...
...and by the time i managed to reach The Ship, i was joined by Jackie and Nutz, the SG member formally known as Yeoman, and then LittleBleeder and Emma , who finally managed to find The Ship after getting lost in Soho - again.
had a fantastic eve just hanging out, and Keith (aka Yeoman) got us all into his club for nothing - so we popped over there for an hour while it was quiet so he could play some punk rock for us before the indie kids got in - so we got The Drips, The Bronx, Death By Stereo, Bouncing Souls, Lars Frederkison to shout along too. I even think we got some free beer somewhere down the line too!
so yeah - this cheered me up no end. and even though this happened without arranging anything through SG, its because of SG that i've met these fab people. was excellent to see my Bud lisa again - as shes not down this way very often, its always a must that i get together with her when shes in the area.
i love random friday night outs - i doesn't happen nearly enough.
finally, heres the pic i did of the "old SGUK" - i'm posting it again cos I kinda like it, plus it took me ages to make. so i'm not wasting it on one journal!
