i'm fucking useless.
just had a really great and CHEAP weekend...and then went and spent a FUCKLOAD of cash on DVDs and CDs today...

walked out of Virgin records with the following:

sat on my arse in the Ship all night yesterday, drinking coke after free coke, arguing with my mate Dave about PUNK ROCK. wasn't gonna let him win either. Daves hobby is arguing. he also got a bit shitty when i took the piss out of him for going to see A-HA recently. i think its justified - the amount of abuse he gives me for going to see what i'd consider semi-decent bands is amazing, so there.
i mean, A-HA for fucks sake!!!!!
friday went and saw Mondo Generator with Carmel after meeting Doplex and TheNonStopDancer in Camden for a few beers.
Carmels been feelin a bit fragile the last couple of weeks, but i think the gig really cheered her up. The band were amazing - mainly thanks to the fact that Nick Oliveri was yet again backed by the AWESOME Guitar-And-Drums combo of Winnebago Deal as his backing band.
Mondo Generator (or Nick Oliveri) haven't been better - these two fellas really kick arse. it was a shame then when we bumped into the Winnebago Deal guys after the show, i'd never seen someone looking so dejected. Seems they've been having problems with oliveri and thats their last gig with him...EVER.
seems the guy really IS a total fuckhead and has some severe problems. was pretty sad to hear i must say...
still, at least we get Winnebago Deal back again!
got a fairly busy week coming up, and then to next weekend, when i get friday off and a weekend trip to Brighton with my buddies. I can't fucking wait for that!!!!
