spent the whole weekend watching episode after episode of MIAMI INK, dilligently taped off Discovery Real Time by my cousin.
its an awesome show, and so fucking inspiring. the artists and artwork are totally gobsmacking, an it actually makes my heart race with excitement while i was watching it.
i love seeing how the guys turn what the customer is explaining to them into a workable tattoo. and what a bunch of nice guys they all seem too. a lot of the show centres on their friendship with each other, and how they consider the business "a family" - even though, yeah its a TV reality show, and obviously a couple of the chaps work elsewhere normally.

these guys astound me with their ability to bash out a sketch from a vague description given to them by the customers. and their tattooing is top class.
there was a new addition in the batch of episodes this time:

Kat Von D joined the crew, who not only has a way with Pin-Up Girl tattoos (my fave, as you know), but shes hot as well...
