last night, as i left the elephants head in camden and staggered up camden highstreet to the tube station, i observed coming towards me two camden "streetpeople" - probable homeless/winos/junkies/whatever, one man, one lady in their late 20s - who seemed to be having an arguement and wrestling with each other.
as they got closer, it became apparent that they were having a tug of war with a little black puppy that was yelping and barking for dear life..."give it to me!" "no, give it to me!" "fuck off, give it to me!" etc.
sure i was gonna see this animal torn apart, it all abruptly stopped when the guy lamped the girl and knocked her out, running off after turning to me and saying "walk on bruv"...probably cos at this stage i was staring at them with my mouth wide open.
needless to say, i was on that tube fucking quick - and can safely say that shook me up a fair bit for most of the journey home.
i used to like camden a lot - but i must admit that its slowly going downhill and i'm liking hanging out there less and less...
so - a not very nice end to a great weekend.
most of you would have heard what went on, so here's some brief snippets instead:
* finally go to hang out with my best mate on friday, which involved us finding a very cheap pub in central london, and getting wankered on less than a tenner between us!
i'm glad i caught up with carmel - i miss my mate, and shes not really been having a very good time at the moment.
* seeing oak again on saturday and sunday, back for a fleeting visit from LA. was ace to catch up with the big fella again.
* seeing lots of SG people on saturday night. was a good meet. everyone was on top form and there was a fantastic vibe in the pub. was excellent catching up with everyone again, as i feel i haven't really seen them all for a while.
was also quite fun being manhandled by Sky, Jackie and Summer all at different points in the evening. i like being little!

* saw The Proposition on sunday - was great, but really makes you feel like you could do with a shower afterwards. very dirty and grimy feel to it, lots of flies too.
* up to camden, and a night at the Elephants Head with Oak and Aosoth and all the guys from The Ship. it was great, i could have stayed there all-night. luckily i didn't as my hangover was horrendous this morning...

on your own its not very nice, i once saw out side virgin 5 guys beet up a black guy all because he was well balck (well its seemed to be about that, going on what they were saying and teh fact they run down the middle of the street shouting it)
all that on a sunday ar 2pm!
