wow - Alkaline Trio secret gig last night at The Barfly in Camden. fantastic to see them in a place that small.

had to buy a new jacket yesterday from the high street hell that is topman. being a shortarse means you don't get a lot of choice - you see clothes that fit you - you have to buy it.

its ok though - its black, which is good. doesn't have any stupid slogans on it either. its very normal - so i won't have to...

getting over seeing the totally gob-smacking and awe-inspiring Queens Of The Stone Age at the weekend.

Joey Castillo is the most fantastic drummer I've ever seen. its a bit of a case of "Dave who?", as he drums rings round Dave Grohl.

Less Than Jake @ The Astoria last night - fantastic stuff, with the added bonus of The Pietasters and Teen Idols, who were both great.

the Teen Idols CD is well worth getting - a cross between screeching weasel, the ramones and X.
