I may well be there in May, in a "supervisory" capacity with some of the students form college. I may have to buy them alcohol and get them psissed in the hotel. Hooking up with the SGSF crowd sounds like a plan too, got any contacts?

"The Old Bank" just by the station is quite a nice pub, though admittedly i do go in there to watch the football, and i remember your comment about sports at the meet, so maybe it's not for you. But yeah, most pubs round Sutton are plastic crappy pubs, or football pubs.
"The Ship" in Croydon would be right up your street, it's just by where Brannigans used to be. Coincidental name huh?

"Were Green Day good?" would be a dumb question. So I shan't even think of asking that

My gig schedule for this week? The Dead Pets and Vicious Cabaret. Ah well, at least it's cheap and they're both damn good bands.

Last time I saw Green Day was in Leeds on the "Nimrod" tour about six years ago - my main memory of the gig is them starting up "Longview" and getting a TickleMeElmo doll to sing "The beautiful people, the beautiful people..." to the intro. That made me laugh.

Certainly sir. I'll give you a copy the next time I see you. I reckon there are a few tracks that you'll really like. Some of the second disc is like acid house though so I'm fiarly sure you'll hate those tracks.

I didn't go , I found my enthusiasm for the gig kind of went since I booked the ticket . I've seen them before I know there a good live band but I just didn't feel like it this time.

As for the film we'll agree to disagree ..admitedly I also felt like smacking Jude at times though.

Cheers for the comment mate. Erm, not sure what the plan is for this weekend. I'm staying in a hotel somewhere about halfway between Kings Cross and Camden. I think the plan for Saturday is I'm meeting farqueue and Charley to do the whole tourist thing once I've unpacked etc. although I don't know for certain yet. Still, I've got six hours to kill between chucking out time at the hotel and my train back on Sunday so I'm sure we can arrange summat.

It's a good feeling isn't it, I'm still weaning myself off christmas eating habits, but getting back into the excercise too.
