Tonight we finish vocals to the last song on the Northeast record. One more week of mixing, and we'll have a finished product. I'll be sure to post a couple of songs up here and see if any of you dig it at all.

New years is coming up and some friends in LA are getting together for a par-tay. It might be time to go down again, before my band breaks up for good. The drummer has stated that he's not moving to LA. This marks the end of Sloe. It bums me out because we have this new record that we just released in Sept. and the two CD release shows that we played were just awesome. We must have sold almost a hundred copies of the record in those two shows. Makes you wonder what might have been if we had kept the momentum.

Got some Christmas lights up in the house to put a more festive vibe. I think we'll skip out on the tree aspect. I haven't had a tree since i moved out of my parents house.

Tell me a christmas story. Something that sticks out in your mind as a Christmas to remember.

I remember one year (1998?) when my entire family on my dads side got together. It was in Nebraska and we must have been about 30 strong. It was my first white Christmas and just being around that many of my family at the same time made me feel very warm. I think that is the Christmas that I will always remember.

Last year at Christmas morning, I got to watch my sister's husband propose to her in front of all of us. It was a big surprise and an awesome moment to watch. That will also stick out in my mind when I think of Christmas
