two days off, now back to the project. It's time to get started on vocals tonight. This is always the least fun of recording projects. For some reason I have this attraction to instrumental music, especially instrumental rock music.

I like this time of year. My company has this winter/christmas shutdown where they shut the company down from the 24th of December through the 2nd of January. Just a little over a week's worth of unpaid- but free vacation. I just love it.

Know what I realized last night? Wouldn't it be rad to have someone to cuddle with on cold nights? indeed it would.
Know what else I realized. Wouldn't it be rad if I could sleep till noon every day? most definitely.

The band I play drums for just got a show at the Cafe Du Nord in early January. I've heard many good things about this place, but have never actually set foot inside. Should be fun none the less.

Now i've got to go and find somewhere that I can buy the new "Battles" EP on the interweb.
