busy weekend.
Thursday
I ventured to downtown SJ and saw an amazing show in front of 10 people. Mellowdrone played a fairly good set, but what really stoked me out was the opening band The Heavenly States. I can't say enough about how good this band was. All 10 of us couldn't stop feeling what they were doing. They are from Oak town so check them the fuck out.
Friday I laid down the bulk of my vocals on 3 or 4 songs for the record. I think it came out well, given that I sound like a fucking wet goose on a stove when I sing.
Saturday
I watched two people I adore give themselves to each other for the rest of their lives. Set in a wonderful hotel in sausalito, we rejoiced and got obliterated and some people passed out in their cars *cough*punt*cough*. Another one of our friends locked her keys in her car with it running at the valet booth and missed the entire ceremony.
Sunday
I slept in and had dinner with my sister for her birthday. She's gonna be the big 30 next year. At dinner she hits me up again to play a Peter Gabriel song (in your eyes),at her wedding in July. I've come up with about 3 different arrangements that might work with just me. either:
a) me and an acoustic guitar
b) me, a computer, and a bass
c) me, a computer, and a rhodes
