I just realized that every time in the past year that I have talked to my dad on the phone he resolves our conversation with, "ok, well get some sleep!" and we give our goodbyes.

I've never understood that expression. Burning the candle at both ends. I get the metaphor --you're using your resources rapidly and theres some underlying implication regarding the meeting in the middle part....but I don't understand how people apply it to their lives. I mean, I guess I do. But I don't. Nevermind. I'm sick.

Sooo I'd let Ruckus sleep in my room but she always tries to get in bed with me after I fall asleep or else she chews off all my shoelaces. So her crate is downstairs by the computer and I play music for her so she doesn't get too lonely while I'm sleeping. Tonight I have 'private hell' on repeat. She likes it.
