Reno was awesome. Had a great time.

We stayed in Grass Valley on Friday night. Woke up and made our way to Reno via Nevada City, where I found an amazing record store and for 68$ ended up with the following vinyl:

1. Beach Boys - Surfs Up
2. Led Zepplin - II
3. Neil Young - After the Goldrush
4. Donovan - Sunshine Superman
5. The Beatles - Abbey Road
6. Jose Feliciano - Feliciano!
7. Panda Bear - Bros 12"


Got to reno and checked in to the Sands. Soundchecked, had some scotch and sodas, and began to party. After the show, we went back to the Sands where I proceeded to drink 10 screwdrivers and created a racket at the craps tables with Billy Bob Clifton until about 5:30am. I even ended up 2$ up. At my last roll I threw it all down in hopes that i'd loose and I could finally pull myself from the table, but low and behold duder threw two sevens and an eleven in a row on the comeout. I had to cash out.

It was super hot, though. If I hadn't found that pair of sunglasses in the thrift shop for 4$, I would have been blind.

Session with Mercy, Mercy tonight. 4th festivities tomorrow, then I'm off to Nebraska to see my cousin tie the knot.
