So in a strange turn of events my friend, Jimmy, was asked to be the second guitar player in the band Hot Hot Heat. He showed up in town the other day and came over to hang out. Turns out he gets to play the Oakland Arena (or whoever is sponsoring it) on friday with the Foo Fighters and Weezer. Sounds like fun, huh.

so if you're at the show on friday and see a guitar player that looks like a young Keith Richards, that's Jimmy. Say hi.


Tomorrow marks the first day of my carcinogen free lifestyle. I'm quitting smoking. Once and for all. Wish me luck.
