So my mother has been taking medication for rheumatoid arthritis, and two nights ago she was unable to breathe. After a trip to the emergency room, we discovered that the medication had disabled some of her immune system, and she'd contracted pneumonia.
Today we find out that her white blood cell count hadn't risen, meaning her body isn't fighting off the infection. Luckily she's hooked up to an IV and will be allright.

i was once hospitalized with pneumonia when i was in 8th grade. not rad.
Yeah thats fucked up. Good think you guys went down to the ER. I hope she gets back on her feet soon, pneumonia is not fun....
