One would think with all the time I have to not work, I would be looking for things to do. I'm soo busy I don't even have time to shave. 
I finished the Northeast Record. I'll post some samples very soon. Now we're in the middle of tracking drums for the new Maida record.

Wow, that's a legit set-up! I have consider buying a couple 1/2" Tascam 8-tracks but I've never taken the pludge. I really dislike recording direct to digital, I have consistant problem with driving the signal into the fuzz-zone.
It would be great if you could go for engineering full time. I gather you have learned most of your recording skill on your own?

As I drove in to work today I listened to a wonderful program on poetry. It was on Forum with Michael Krasny on NPR. It turned out to be the perfect way to start the day.
Now i'm listening to the complete Columbia recordings of the Miles Davis Quintet.
I guess it's just gonna be one of those days.

Really? That's awesome! duNord is one of my favorite venues. Stage is kinda small, but other than that, this place is sweet. All dark and cozy and candlelit...has a pool table...and a cool red velvety victorian couch in one of the back rooms. very 20's ish. Everyone that works there is super nice too.
