God I love Social Distortion!! I saw them only once in London (they don't cross the ocean too frequently) for the "White light..." tour and this was one of the very best concerts EVER.
I've never seen something like that, people were crossing the venue hanging from the ceiling pipes and throwing themselves in the pit
All the crowd was mad, they were 3 or 4 times my size larger, kind of Hells Angels type, I thought I was going to die there or something. Mike Ness oozes cool. What a great man.
Sadly, I don't know if you've heard, Dennis Dannel died 2 years ago (natural causes) and there's been talk of a new album since but this guy was like Mike's brother so... Get Mr Ness's 2 solo albums, they're quite good too. Also, "White light..." is one of the best rock album ever IMO
