Just got done watching yours truly on the news. It's a good thing I didn't sneeze or blink, or I would have missed it. I knew it was going to be a quick piece, but I was in hopes they'd pull some memorable soundbite and use that. You know, some great quote that they could inscribe on my tombstone when I go up to that big record store in the sky. What a bunch of crap!
Today was unexpectedly fun. A friend and I went out to a bunch of girly stores like Bed, Bath & Beyond, World Market, etc. Truth be told, I LOVE those stores. I bought a bunch of stuff I didn't need. We went and ate at this Chinese buffet, and I proceded to make a damn out of myself. They needed a wheelchair to get me outta there. Pretty much a low-key day. A perfect way to wrap up a good weekend. Haven't been able to say that in ages!
Speaking of good weekends, I'm lookin' forward to all the SGTX folks comin' to Austin for the V-Day blowout. Lotsa good stuff goin' on that weekend, so it's gonna RAWK....I ga-ron-teeeeee!!!
My boss from Chicago called me today. I have to be at work before 7:30 tomorrow for a conference call regarding all these rumors of financial "changes" that have been reportedly going on. He said it's all going to benefit us. Hey, just as long as my job is intact. With all this in mind, I must slip into my footy pajamas a bit early tonight. That means no late night SG or eBay. Hope everybody has a kick ass week. If you see me panhandling on The Drag, you'll know the call didn't go so well!!!
