Can you believe it? I actually went into a record store, and left without spending any money! Go figure! Someone stopped me and told me they saw my picture in The Chronicle. I made a comment on the article and they looked at me like I just told them a dirty joke in Swahili. Well, as long as they looked at the pictures.
It's very strange: for some reason, all of these people from my past are contacting me. On Friday, a friend from my first year of college tracked me down on Friendster. All these other folks from Richmond to L.A. to Seattle are tracking me down. I don't owe any of them money, so I wonder what gives.
As mentioned earlier, I tried to go out and frolic in the Austin sunshine. I put in about 2 hours worth and high-tailed it home. Went for some Mexican food, which was quite tasty. I hate to admit it, but I'm almost looking forward to work tomorrow. With everything going on (or not going on) in my personal life, work is the only thing I have.
No word on my mom's condition. I called my sister for an update, but of course, she hasn't called back. I'm sure she's "very busy". Always is.
I sincerely apoligize for this. I'm so damn bummed, I don't know what to do with myself. Sorry to bring y'all down.
Maybe things will get better tomorrow.
