God, I FUCKIN' HATE RAIN!!! Yes, I did live in Seattle for 10 years. That is one of the many reaons I live in TX now. It's been a downpour all damn day. After a soggy 11.5 hour day at work, it's nice to be home at the "fortress of solitude". Yesterday, I forgot to mention that the article that was supposed to feature my pic was not in The Chronicle as promised. Maybe next week? Who knows? I don't READ that paper. I just look to see what's going on. That's about it. Right now, I'm listening to the new record by Horrorpops. This is very cool and very different. It's out in a few weeks. Can't describe it. Gotta give it a few more listens. Very cool though.
I won't bitch about work, but we're getting down to the wire here. The boss arrives on Monday night. We're going out for dinner, so that's always cool. I hope he sees how hard I'm working to improve that place. In my eyes, the results are not always apparent.
Tomorrow is the burlesque show at Emo's. Should be fun. I have a "sinking feeling" though, and that's never good. Lots of bad things have been happening lately. No more, please! We'll see...I'm sure it will be fun!!! Lotsa cool folks from outta town are coming. Break out the peanut butter pie!
Well, it's all about me tonight. I'm just gonna take it easy. So far, so good. I really want to go eat pancakes tomorrow morning, but my boat sprung a leak on the way home from work. Wanna come get me?
