I had a dream that I kissed Norah Jones. It was great, and then I woke up to...well...this. After a day like today, I have barricaded myself in my apartment. If I go outside, someone is sure to drop a piano on me. It was all about work today. My boss from Chicago arrives Monday. Inventory is next Thursday. If I make it to next Saturday, I'll be surprised.
Hey, I really appreciate all the kind words people have sent my way these past few days. It means alot. I'm gonna try to not talk about all of that too much. I kept it a secret (alluded to it here and there, but...) for a long time. What I need to do is TRY to let her do her thing, and try to persue my needs. I'm still hoping she'll come around, but I have to be realistic. Okay, like I said, not gonna talk about it.
I came home to many packages! 5 New Bomb Turks 7"s (only paid for 3!), a Clash picture disc. That was it for eBay. My friend who I have re-acquainted myself with after 10 years sent me a package with the newest CD by his band, Adam West, plus some other great stuff. They did a split single with the Hellacopters, and he burned me A.W.'s cuts. Good stuff.
I could bitch about my job for a few more paragraphs, but I won't do that to you wonderful folks! Instead, I'm gonna go distract myself with something. I'm sure there's something I didn't bid on on eBay. Have a great night.
