Today was a non-stop work day. The only enjoyment I got outta that was helping pretty girls. Just got home from eating Chinese food. Damn tasty! Fortunately, it was extra spicy, which temporarily helped my cold. 
I don't feel too bad, but I could certainly do without all the nose business.
Got screwed on an eBay purchase for the first time. I bought this DVD that is Japanese AND a bootleg. The guy said it would play on American DVD players, but alas he was fuckin' lying! It was pretty cheap, so no big loss. I just want to see it. More Hellacopters, dontcha know!
I work with this Mexican guy, and we always talk about Mexican stuff like movies, art, and general mex pop culture. I'm really interested in that. He bought me a copy of Alarma!, which is one of those death tabloid mags. It's full of pictures of people with their heads blown off, in vivid color. They also have pinup girls in there too. What more could you ask for? Yep, pretty damn cool!
The next few days will prove to be sheer hell, as Xmas shopping kicks into overdrive. This is when people get nasty, and tell you what a moron you are because you are out of the Bette Midler tribute to Rosemary Clooney. HA! You think I'm kidding? Welcome to my world. Today, I got interviewed for an article that will appear in the Austin Chronicle. Hope I didn't end up sounding like too much of a fool. I was pretty goofed on cold meds at the time.

The movie was actually good (didn't like the first one, second was pretty good--I'm just not a LOTR freak, but my sister is). No, it was not a date, unless you consider both my sisters and my parents my date. It was good ol' fashioned family night.
