Yes, it's true. I got the job. My advice to you is to go into your interview with your fly agape! Much more subtle than banging it on the desk, but equally as effective! I start on Monday. Should be cool: casual attire, you can listen to your own music, good pay, 401k, profit sharing, benefits. That has been my day so far. I now have to condition myself to get up ridiculously early. I'm very excited. I have managed to NOT squander my entire savings away. Davey's back in business!
That kinda overshadows everything else. I thought the Top Chef finale was a pile of crap. I will gladly discuss further, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone.
Had to take the cat to the vet yesterday to get 2 teeth pulled. She's been all doped up and wobbly ever since. She finally went to sleep. The drugs had her all stressed out. Hopefully she'll be back to cussing me out and tearing me up in a few days.
That's all I have. I'm pretty wound up about all of this job shit. I'm starting a new chapter of my life. I welcome the lifting of the guilt of inactivity. That has kinda ruined my whole "down time". Work makes me happy. Here we go!
