Let me tell ya, my days of buying $85 nicknacks are OVER! I went into this place expecting to pay $20 tops for this Japanese fish thing. It was cool, but not $85 worth of cool. If I'm gonna spend that kinda money, the damn thing better wash my clothes, cook dinner and tell me what an amazing fuckin' person I am! By the way, if anybody is interested in doing those things for $85, we can probably work something out.
I guess I emotionally broke even this weekend, which is fine by me. No more death anniversaries (hopefully) for a long time. Saturday night was fun. We'll see if it takes another 1.5 years before I return to the Continental Club.
Went out for Mexian food tonight! I was the only guy in the joint, which is rather cool, cuz that makes it very difficult for them to fuck up your order. Basically, they unloaded the kitchen (and hopefully not the garbage) on my plate. Good grubbin'! I made the most of being their sole customer by dining without my pants. It's always more festive when no pants are involved. Okay, I lied. I wore my pants the whole time, but inside....my pants were outside on the fuckin' sidewalk, man! Well, this enthusiastic burst of energy can only mean one thing: time for bed. Don't even THINK about stealing the comforter either!
