Wacky times at the ol' rekkid sto'. BMG accidentally sent out promo (unsellable) cds, instead of saleable STROKES cds to many of their accounts. If you are going to release your biggest selling CD of the year since the White Stripes, you MIGHT want to ship those which your accounts can SELL!!! ...And we wonder why the industry is in such bad shape!

, an Undertones 2cd anthology (!), and a huge collection of Wagner. I'm getting taken out to lunch on Friday. Yes, it is the free things that keep me going.
Man, you wouldn't believe how quiet it is around here tonight. That'll end once I crack open that Motorhead. I still feel pretty good. A friend from Seattle is coming to town in the next few days. She rocks! She's staying with other members of the Seattle/Austin contingent, so it's gonna be old home week! In the meantime, come talk to me DAMMIT!!!
