my apartment is eerily quiet tonight. just got home from a ridiculously long work day. we had a band play in the store, so i had to stay for that. last night's dropkick murphys show was lots o' fun. roger miret & the disasters were great too, but i could have done without the unseen. 2 kids who were behind me at the show came in today. they were really cool. the girl REALLY needs to be on this site. i coveted.
speaking of shows, i had another person come in today who saw my thing on tv. he wanted to buy something i reviewed. i tried to talk to him about music, thinking he was into the type of stuff i review. he said he pretty much buys his cds at wallmart, but he found my review very interesting. that was cool. that made me feel great. i am mastering the power of influence. tv evangelism is right around the corner. don't get me wrong, it's not a religious thing. i'm in it for the cash and chicks! yeah, right. i'm in it cuz i want a white suit. yikes! i'm delirious! here is my agenda for the evening: cold beverage, guitar. beyond that, i'm winging it, baby. freestylin'! man, i'm out of it. must get my mind off work. this whole thing is consuming me. a shotgun wedding with my job is not how i envisioned spending the fall/winter.
