Hey everyone, I hope everyone is having a great Saturday!
I could use some advice!!
I'm struggling to come to terms, why some people say are
close friends then drop you at a drop of the hat!
I know my drinking had a lot to do with it!
But I am bettering myself, making myself a better person, by not being an asshole drunk! (on my 4th day of no alcohol)
I think if they say they care then they should be there for you!
I guess it takes time!
Just hate being shut-out!![ Especially if I did more good for the friend than harm!/B]

Man. It's hard to say sometimes people just feel they have made more of an effort; sometimes they feel betrayed. Just work on you and your own contentment. Being shut out sucks; but those who are truly your friends are going to be there for you no matter what; they may stop chatting or contacting you for a bit for whatever reason but they will come back. If not, then really, is that someone you want in your life, there when they need you but not when you need them? You're worth more than that.
