I just had the WORST christmas family dinner with my brother-in-law's family (My husband's sister's husband's family...make sense?)

They are all really loud, pushy, boorish louts who hate eachother. The matriarch grandmother is going senile, and of course is unaware of this, and will not acknowledge that she needs to wear diapers...of course she pissed herself before dinner began, and that's when the rest of the family joined in the denial game...
"Where's grandma?"
"Oh, she's, ah checking out the new basement!!! How's it look down there, grandma?"
(In reality, everyone in the house knows Will and her are downstairs putting her clothes into the washing machine. Fuckers! Getting old is not a disease! It's a fact of life! Deal! Your once iron fisted grandmother needs your help!)

Anyway, I lasted only as long as dinner, then I took off. A couple of hours there has probably shortened my life by at least three or four days...I told my sister in law she's my new superhero for hosting that bunch of fucks for christmas dinner AFTER she was up at 4 am to do her shift at the radio station from 6am to noon, THEN came home and cooked. Man, I'm gonna have to go and buy her another present just for surviving that dinner...FOUR nosey pushy mother in law/aunts in law all vying for space in the kitchen...the carnage was devastating...

I SURVIVED ANOTHER CHRISTMAS!
