People haven't been very nice to me lately so I've been on a bit of a "the world sucks and I hate everyone" trip.
I was driving home tonight from an incredible Algerian music performance (!) and my cranky ol' VW bus snapped the accelerator cable.
It was amazing how many people stopped and offered assistance.
It was like they were falling out of the sky or something.
So with a few extra hands involved I got her fixed in about 15 minutes and also got palmed a decent joint, a cutie's phone number and met a bass player (which my 'band' is lacking).
Nice.
